Removing and installing locking mechanism
Removing and installing locking mechanism
   
Removing
–  Remove the rear seat backrest → Chapter.
–  Remove the head restraint → Chapter.
–  Remove the trim for the locking mechanism → Chapter.
–  Remove the backrest cover with backrest padding → Chapter.
–  Screw out the bolt -1-.
–  Use a screwdriver to open the tab -4-.
–  Unclip the locking mechanism at the pin -3-.
–  Disengage the locking mechanism -2- at the rear seat backrest frame and lift out -arrow-.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
Notes on installation: For example tightening torques, component replacement → Chapter.
