1 - Countersunk bolt → Item
2 - Flange shaft with spring
q   Removing and installing → Chapter

3 - Circlip
q   For sealing cap → Item
q   Fitted in gearboxes manufactured from 21 01 8 onwards
4 - Sealing cap
q   Secured by circlip in gearboxes manufactured from 21 01 8 onwards
q   Removing and installing (without circlip) → Chapter
q   Removing and installing (with circlip) → Chapter
q   Select correct components from → Electronic parts catalogue.
5 - Circlip
q   For grooved ball bearing on input shaft → Item
6 - Reversing light switch -F4-
q   20 Nm
q   With captive seal (fitted shortly after gearbox was first introduced)
7 - Seal
q   Not fitted on all gearboxes
8 - Oil drain plug
q   Tightening torque → Fig.
9 - Seal
q   Always renew
10 - Locking bolt
q   45 Nm
q   For selector shaft
11 - Bolt
q   15 Nm + 90°
q   Replacement part always supplied as bolt with captive washer
q   Always renew; for correct version refer to → Electronic parts catalogue
q   Correct allocation of replacement bolts → Fig.

q   15 Nm + 90°
q   Without washer
