Removing and installing selector lever lock solenoid -N110-

Removing –  Remove selector mechanism → Chapter. –  Unplug connectors -1- and -2- and move wiring clear.

–  Release the mount on both sides -arrows- and lift off.

–  Unclip the connector -1-. –  Unplug electrical connectors -2- and -5-. –  Sever the cable tie -3- and pull out the cable clips -4-. –  Remove the bolts -arrows- and take the selector mechanism out of the selector housing.

–  Lift the retainer tab -1- slightly at the locking lever and in doing so slide the retaining clip -2- in -direction of arrow- as far as it will go.

–  Remove the bolts -1- and detach the selector lever lock solenoid -N110--Item 2-. Installing Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following: –  Insert the selector lever lock solenoid -N110- and screw on.

–  Press selector lever lock solenoid -N110- against locking lever -3- and at the same time slide retaining clip -2- in direction of -arrow- until retainer tab -1- engages.   Note Check that the selector lever lock solenoid and locking lever are connected. –  Fit the mount and symbol panel → Chapter. –  Install selector mechanism → Chapter. –  Install centre console → Rep. gr.68. –  Observe correct procedure after connecting battery → Rep. gr.27. –  Check selector mechanism → Anchor. –  Check operation of ignition key withdrawal lock → Anchor. –  Perform basic setting in the „vehicle self-diagnosis“ routine → Rep. gr.01.
