Removing and installing electronic manual gearbox control unitJ514
Removing and installing electronic manual gearbox control unit -J514-
Removing
–  Switch off ignition.
–  Lift up floor mat in left side footwell.
   
–  Turn the lock mechanisms -1- anticlockwise and remove the cover plate.

–  Release multiple connector -arrow 1- and unplug from the control unit -arrow 2-.

–  Press both retaining clips -arrows- downwards and remove control unit carefully.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Interrogate fault memory → Chapter.
–  Perform basic setting → Chapter.
