Removing and installing poly V-belt pulley for crankshaft
Removing and installing poly V-belt pulley for crankshaft
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Counterhold tool -3415- with pins -3415/1-
  W00-0387
Removing
–  Remove poly V-belt → Chapter.
–  Loosen bolt for poly V-belt pulley and toothed belt sprocket using counterhold tool -3415- with pin -3415/1- to lock poly V-belt pulley.
–  Remove bolt and take off poly V-belt pulley.
  Caution
Risk of damage to engine.
t  To prevent the crankshaft sprocket from slipping off the drive lug, do not rotate the crankshaft after the poly V-belt pulley has been detached.
t  Fit bolt with 2 washers again to secure crankshaft sprocket.

Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Renew bolt for poly V-belt pulley.
–  Fit poly V-belt pulley so that recess on poly V-belt pulley engages in lug on toothed belt sprocket -arrow-.
–  Install poly V-belt → Chapter.
