Special tools and workshop equipment required

  • ◆ Drip tray

Removing

  • ‒ → Remove heat shield located at front right of fuel tank -arrows-.
  • ‒ Place container under fuel filter.

Warning
Fuel system is under pressure. Before opening the system place a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully loosening the connection.
  • ‒ → Disconnect fuel pipes -1- and -2- (press release tabs).
  • ‒ Remove bolt -3-.
  • ‒ Remove fuel filter.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

  • ◆ The arrows point in direction of flow.
