Installing > < Removing and installing track rod ball joints

Removing
Removing
–  Loosen nut on track rod ball joint.
  Note!
Leave nut screwed several turns onto track rod ball joint to protect thread.
   
–  Detach track rods from steering arms using ball joint puller -Kukko 129/1-.
  Note!
Take care not to damage rubber boot when inserting ball joint puller.
  A48-0347
–  When loosening and tightening lock nut -B-, counterhold track rod ball joint -A- with a 19 mm spanner.
–  Loosen lock nut -B-.
–  Unscrew nut from track rod ball joint.
–  Unscrew track rod ball joint.
