‹› Some transmission oil remains in the oil pan because not all of it can flow out.

Remove oil pan together with oil pan gasket.

 Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

Torque specifications => [ Oil Pan, Mechatronic, Transmission Oil Pump ] See: Oil Pan, Mechatronic, Transmission Oil Pump

‹› Replace oil pan gasket and bolts for oil pan.

‹› Replace O-rings - arrows - on the 20-pin connector for the direct shift gearbox (DSG) mechatronic (J743). If a new direct shift gearbox (DSG)

mechatronic (J743) was installed, both these O-rings - arrows - are not replaced because they are new.

Coat O-rings with transmission fluid.

Clean sealing surfaces and remove oil residue.

-

Make sure new oil pan gasket is seated correctly.
