Removing
-
Remove the shift knob and the shift lever boot. Refer to => [ Shift Knob with Shift Lever Boot ] See: Shift Knob with Shift Lever Boot.

Remove the ashtray in the front of the center console.

Remove the noise insulation over the shift mechanism.

Remove nuts - arrows -.
-
Remove the entire air filter housing. See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold
-
Remove the selector cable washer - 1 - and pull the cable off the pin.
