Matching or deleting vehicle key for radio remote control
The vehicle is supplied with two remote keys. You must match radio remote control ignition keys which are new or have not yet been matched using the central locking control unit -J429. The vehicle keys must also be adapted to immobiliser control electronics. => Electrical System; Repair group 01; Immobiliser Self-diagnosis -Fixed code If a fault from 00955 to 00958 is displayed, the remote keys must be rematched. Display zone 2 shows how many remote keys have been matched and in which memory positions (1x in position 1 in example shown).
Each time the button is pressed the hazard lights will flash to confirm.
This vehicle key is now saved and the central locking must unlock.

Notes:
Re-matching procedure for existing remote keys Note: This procedure must be performed after changing the batteries in remote keys, or if the fault reader displays fault codes 00955 to 00958.
If vehicle is neither locked nor unlocked:
If vehicle is still not locked or unlocked, key must be re-matched. Match remote key . Procedure for erasing memory positions Note: It is possible to erase all of the memory addresses, e. g., if the customer has misplaced a radio remote control key. Please proceed as follows:

The central locking is now not permitted to unlock the vehicle via the radio remote control.
You can now match up to four keys. |
