• Bonnet
• ◆ To remove, detach gas-filled strut -3- from bonnet.
• ◆ Unscrew hexagon bolts of bonnet hinge on bonnet end and remove bonnet.
• Buffer
• ◆ The two outer stops can be used to adjust the height of the bonnet.
• ◆ Screw in the two inner stops as far as possible and then slacken off half a turn.
• Gas-filled strut
• ◆ To remove, slightly raise spring catch -4- with screwdriver and detach gas-filled strut from ball stud.

• Tailgate hinge
• ◆ Remove bonnet before removing hinge
• ◆ To remove, unscrew hexagon bolt -6- and remove bonnet hinge.
• Hexagon bolt
• ◆ 21 Nm
• Insulation
• ◆ Vehicles with diesel engine only
• Hexagon nut
• ◆ 8 Nm
• Arrester

• ‒ Unscrew hexagon nuts and remove arrester.
• ‒ Tightening torque 8 Nm.
