Servicing central locking system

  • ‒ For further information refer to current flow diagram and fault finding.

Note:

If the vehicle has not been used for a long period, or if the pump has been replaced, the central locking system has to be actuated several times before it will operate properly.

If the system is intact, all locks must be locked after approx. 2 seconds.

If the pump runs for more than 5 seconds, there is a leak in the system.

If the system is leaking, the pump must not run for more than 30 seconds before the control unit in the central locking system pump switches the pump off.

All actuators have special connectors, which should engage positively when fitted.
