Removing and installing tailgate actuator > < Detaching connector

General Body Assembly Exterior (Repair groups 50, 55, 57, 58, 60, 63, 64, 66)
Central locking, 5-door vehicles
Repairing damaged line
  • ‒ Cut off damaged section with a knife.
  • ‒ Cut connecting hose, e.g. part no. 533 862 225 to appropriate length and slip over vacuum line.

→ Tailgate

  • ‒ Route pressure/vacuum line -2- as shown.
  • ‒ Engage elbow connector in actuator.
