Removing and installing windscreen
Minimum setting times.
ImportantFor safety reasons, when installing windscreen and rear windows, use only non-conductive 2-component adhesive with the designations listed below.The vehicle is only safe to operate after the minimum setting times have elapsed, and must not be operated until then.

Cleaning off adhesive sealant

Adhesive remover D 002 000 10 is the recommended cleaning agent. Always follow the safety instructions.

Important
When cleaning from inside the vehicle passenger compartment, the window just fitted must not be pressed outwards.

Paint areas:

  • ‒ Clean painted surface with a dry cloth. Remove residual dirt with adhesive remover D 002 000 10.

Plastic trim:

  • ‒ Allow adhesive sealant to set (approx. 1 hour) and then detach.
