→ Joint dimensions:

Note:

• ◆ Door shell at rear must be already adjusted or this work must be performed.
• ◆ The joint dimensions can be checked using the special tool 3371.

• ‒ a = 3.5 mm + 1 mm
• ‒ b = 4.5 mm ± 0.5 mm
• ‒ c =3.5 mm ± 0.8 mm

Adjusting to body contour:

• ‒ The door is adjusted by the hinge screws on the B-pillar and sliding the door (oversized drilled holes in hinge).

Note:

Rear part of door is adjusted to centre of vehicle using striker plate =>Fig.: 1.

Note:

Rear part of door is adjusted at striker plate.

When installed, there must not be any torsion between striker plate and door lock.

• ‒ → Release bolts.
• ‒ Move striker plate until door shell is flush with body contour.
• ‒ Tighten bolts.
  Tightening torque 20 Nm.
