Adjusting sun roof panel > < Assembly overview

General Body Assembly Exterior (Repair groups 50, 55, 57, 58, 60, 63, 64, 66)
Servicing sun roof up to approx. 10.97 (Rockwell)
Removing and installing sun roof

  • ‒ Open sun roof to tilt position.
  • ‒ Detach left and right covers towards centre of vehicle => Fig.2.
  • ‒ → Unscrew Torx bolts (3*) on left and right.
  • ‒ Lift out sun roof panel.
Important
Do not run sun roof backwards into roof of vehicle with panel removed.
Drain channel would catch in roof cross strut, making sun roof difficult to close.
  • ‒ Tightening torque for Torx bolts on installation: 4.5 + 0.5 Nm.
