‒ Insert key -3- into lock -2-.

‒ Destroy key switch -1- with key -3- inserted.

‒ Break out lock -2-.
-
‒ Press lock -2- with key -3- inserted into the new key switch -1- until lock -2- engages.

◆ After connecting the battery, please ensure that the vehicle accessories (radio, clock, electric window lifters) are checked according to workshop manual and/or operating instructions.

◆ If the fault warning light (K75) for airbag signals a fault after assembly the fault memory must be erased and again be interrogated by using fault reader V.A.G 1551.
