• Belt tensioner

• ◆ Arrow A indicates direction of travel.
• ◆ Removing three-point seat belt:
• ‒ Disconnect battery.
• ‒ Remove sill panel trims
• ‒ Remove upper B-pillar trim -7-
  without head airbag => Page 70-121
• ‒ Remove lower B-pillar trim -11- => Page 70-101

• ‒ Unscrew bolt -6-.
• ‒ Unplug electrical connector -2- at belt tensioner -1-.
• ‒ Unscrew bolt -12-.
• ‒ Unscrew bolt -9-.
• ‒ Guide webbing -8- through upper B-pillar trim -7-.
• ‒ Lift belt tensioner -1- out of locating pin mount -14-.

• ◆ Installing three-point seat belt:
• ‒ Attach belt tensioner -1- with locating pin -13- as shown in magnified view.
• ◆ After installing passenger's three-point seat belt check belt function for child seat => Page 69-46

Note:

Do not bolt in seat belt when installing B-pillar trim.

• ‒ Install webbing turned through 180° as shown in illustration -arrow B-.
• ‒ Remainder of installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.

• ◆ Removing belt height adjuster:
• ‒ Remove upper B-pillar trim -7- => Page 70-97
• ‒ Unscrew bolt -6- from guide fitting.
• ‒ Unscrew bolt -4- (1x)
• ‒ Lift out belt height adjuster.

• ◆ Installing belt height adjuster:

Note:

Do not press button when installing.

Check operation after installing trim:

Height adjuster must engage audibly in each of the 5 possible positions (including top position).

Each time the height adjustment fitting is pressed it should return automatically to the "up" position.

• ‒ Tightening torque 55 Nm

• Lower B-pillar trim

• ‒ Tightening torque 55 Nm
• Anti-twist element
• Locating pin mount
• Locating pin mount
