• Moulded headliner

• ◆ Removing moulded headliner:
• ‒ Remove A-pillar trim
• ‒ Remove B-pillar trim
  3-door vehicles => Page 70-97
• ‒ Remove D-pillar trim in 3-door vehicles => Page 70-91
• ‒ Remove C/D-pillar trim in 5-door vehicles => Page 70-105
• ‒ Remove sun visor => Page 70-68
• ‒ Remove bracket for sun visor

• ‒ Remove centre of sun visor
• ‒ Use screwdriver to lever out lighting for sun visor-4- left and right.
• ‒ Lever out cover frame -6- on models with sunroof.
• ‒ Remove cover for moulded headlining cut-out and reading lamp

• ‒ Remove grab handles (4x) => Fig.3
• ‒ Remove rear interior light -12-
• ‒ Remove roof frame trim => Page 70-87
• ‒ Position gear lever or selector lever as far forward as possible.
• ‒ Tilt backrest of passenger's seat as far back as possible.

• ‒ Tilt backrest of driver's seat as far back as possible.
• ‒ A second person is required to support the moulded headliner.
• ‒ Detach door seals / side window weatherstrip in vicinity of moulded headliner.
• ‒ Unclip moulded headliner at rear (1x).
• ‒ Pull moulded headliner towards rear of vehicle to remove.

• ◆ Installing
• ‒ Fit door seals/side window weatherstrip.
• ‒ Slide in moulded headliner from rear and clip in at rear.

Note:

Make sure to follow installation sequence, as otherwise roof trim cannot be centred.

• ‒ Carefully press moulded headliner over door seal/side window weatherstrip (if necessary with the aid of a plastic wedge).
• ‒ Clip in frame trim for sunroof.
• ‒ Install rear interior light (switch facing passenger's side).
• ‒ Install sun visor and sun visor bracket.
• ‒ Install grab handles.
• ‒ Carry out remainder of installation in reverse order of removal.

• Sun visor
• ‒ Unclip sun visor -2- from bracket -3- unclip trim cap -8- and unscrew bolt -7-.
• Sun visor bracket
• ‒ Lever cap -10- off bracket for sun visor and Unscrew bolts -9-.

• Sun visor light
• Centre sun visor
• ‒ Unscrew bolt -13- for centre sun visor and remove sun visor -5-.
• Frame trim for sliding roof
• Bolt
• Trim cap
• Bolt
• Trim cap
• Grab handles (4x)
• Rear interior light
• Bolt

• ‒ Unclip trim from cover in direction of arrow and detach.

• ‒ → Unscrew bolts -2- (2x); and unplug connectors.
• ‒ Use screwdriver -3- to lever out moulded headlining -1- from rear.

• ‒ Unclip caps starting from front.
• ‒ → Unscrew bolts -2- (2x).
• ‒ Remove cover -1- from front.
• ‒ Detach connectors.

• ‒ → Fold down grab handle -1-.
• ‒ Lever open covers -2- with screwdriver.
• ‒ Unscrew bolts-3- and remove grab handle -1-.
