Removing

• ‒ Remove glove box.

=> General Body Repairs, Interior; Repair Group 68; Storage Compartments/Covers and Trim Panels; Removing and installing glove box

• ‒ → Unplug connector -2-.
• ‒ Use screwdriver to prise off mount -arrows- and take out longitudinal acceleration sender -G251 -Item 1-.

Notes:

• ◆ Longitudinal acceleration sender is sensitive to severe vibration.
• ◆ Proper operation is no longer guaranteed if sender has been dropped onto ground and sender is then no longer to be used.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

• ‒ Start basic setting for longitudinal acceleration sender -G251.

=> Running Gear, Self-diagnosis; Repair Group 01

• ‒ Perform ESP drive test.

=> Running Gear, Self-diagnosis; Repair Group 01
