Removing and installing clutch pedal switchF36 (round housing)

Removing and installing clutch pedal switch -F36- (round housing)

Note

Clutch pedal switch may only be fitted once so as to ensure a firm fit.

Removing

–	Remove storage compartment on driver's side → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.68.

–	Unplug electrical connector from clutch pedal switch.

–	Remove clutch pedal switch by turning anti-clockwise through 45°.

Installing

Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:

–	Pull out plunger -arrow- all the way before installing clutch pedal switch.

–	Insert retainer tabs -1- and -2- of switch in recesses provided in mounting hole and secure by turning clockwise through 45°.

l	The clutch pedal should be in the normal position (i.e. not pressed down).

l	Do not press brake pedal when installing.

l	Plunger is adjusted automatically when clutch pedal switch is installed.

–	Attach electrical connector to clutch pedal switch.

–	Install storage compartment on driver's side → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.68.
