Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Drift sleeve -2035-
t  Sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-
  W00-0261
–  Drive new oil seal into sleeve as far as stop. When doing this do not tilt seal.
–  Pack space between sealing lip and dust lip half-full with sealing grease -G 052 128 A1-.
–  Install flange shaft.
–  Screw countersunk bolt into flange shaft / threaded piece.
–  Install left drive shaft or attach right drive shaft to flange shaft → Rep. Gr.40.

–  If fitted, attach protective cover for right inner constant velocity joint -arrows-.
Check gearbox oil level. If necessary, top up to bottom lip of filler hole → Chapter.
Tightening torques
  A10-0921
Flange shaft to gearbox (countersunk bolt)25 Nm
Protective cover for right inner constant velocity joint to engineM8
M10		20 Nm
35 Nm
