Removing and installing gearbox

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Support bracket -10 - 222 A-

t	Rack -10 - 222 A/1-

t	Engine and gearbox jack -V.A.G 1383 A-

t	Gearbox support -3282-

t	Adjustment plate -3282/5-

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Engine support -3300 A-

t	Support rail -VW 457/1- (modifying → Anchor)

t	Gearbox lifting tackle -3336-

–	Support rail -VW 457/1- is required to remove and install the gearbox.

A new drilling must be made in order to secure support rail -VW 457/1- to the subframe.

Dimensions are given in mm.

–	If the hole is not present, drill a hole of 8.5 mm Ø -arrow- in support rail -VW 457/1-.
