Securing gearbox to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- or support clamp -VW 313- Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Lifting tackle -2024 A-

t  Hook -10 - 222 A /2-

t  Eye-head bolts -3368-

t  Gearbox support -T10316-

t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- Procedure l  ATF drained → Anchor. –  If necessary, clean outside of gearbox.

–  Bolt gearbox support -T10316- to gearbox -arrows-. –  Turn gearbox so that torque converter housing faces upwards.

–  Screw eye-head bolts -3368- into torque converter housing.   Caution Risk of damage to the torque converter. Secure the torque converter to prevent it from falling out. –  Lift gearbox with lifting tackle -2024 A- and secure to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- or support clamp -VW 313-.
