Draining torque converter

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782-

Procedure

If the ATF has become contaminated by abrasion, or when performing a major gearbox overhaul, drain the torque converter as follows:

–	Extract ATF from torque converter with used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782- and oil extractor probe.
