Removing

  • ‒ Removing the turbocharger
  • ‒ → Unclip retainer -4-.
  • ‒ Remove bolts -2-.
  • ‒ Remove pressure unit -6-.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

  • ‒ → Insert bolts -2- for pressure unit -6-, into turbocharger using liquid locking fluid and tighten to 10 Nm.
  • ◆ Locking fluid

  • ‒ Loosen lock nut -1- for actuation rod -3-.
  • ‒ Move boost pressure valve -5- up to stop towards pressure unit and hold in place.
  • ‒ Adjust actuation rod length -3- so that rod eye is easily placed over lever pin -5-. (Lever located at stop without play)
  • ‒ Starting from this position, screw in actuating rod by 8 turns. (rod is shortened.)
  • ‒ Tighten lock nut -1-.
  • ‒ Position actuating rod on lever and slide retainer -4- in place.
