Test requirements:

• ● Engine oil temperature at least 60 °C
• ● Vehicle must be level (horizontal)
• ● Wait a few minutes after switching off the engine to allow the oil to flow back into the oil pan.

• ‒ Pull out the dipstick, wipe with a clean cloth and insert again to stop.
• ‒ Pull out the dipstick again and read off the oil level.

→ Markings on oil dipstick:

•     a -    Oilmust not be topped up.
•     b -    Oil may be topped up. The oil level may rise as far as area -a- after topping up.
•     c -    Oilmustbe topped up. The oil level is sufficient if somewhere in area -b- (grooved area) after topping up.

Note:

The oil level must not be above marking -a- on the dipstick.
