Notes:

  • ◆ Use the hand multimeter V.A.G 1526 or the multimeter V.A.G 1715 and the diode test lamp V.A.G 1527 for the checks.
  • ◆ To connect the testers to the test box use aux. cables from adapter set V.A.G 1594.
  • ◆ The contact numbers of the plugs and the socket numbers in the test box are identical.
  • ‒ → With ignition switched off, pull plug connector off control unit.
  • ‒ Connect test box to wiring loom connector.
  • ‒ Carry out check according to relevant repair operations.
Attention!
To prevent damage to the electronic components, switch to the respective measuring range before connecting the measuring cable and observe the test prerequisites.

Note:

After re-connecting the engine control unit, perform adaptation of throttle valve control part =>Page 24-54.
