Features

◆ Data transfer between control unit and vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 is carried out in "self-diagnosis" mode.

◆ The fault memory is a non-volatile memory and thus independent of the power supply.

◆ Faults related to the electronic throttle are additionally indicated by the warning lamp for the electronic throttle control ("EPC warning lamp") which is situated in the dash panel insert.

◆ If the engine control unit detect faults which result in deterioration of exhaust emissions, these faults will be indicated by illumination of exhaust gas warning lamp-K83. Significance of exhaust warning lamp -K83 .
