Checking Lambda probe wiring > < Evaluation of display group 037

Checking basic voltage
Checking basic voltage
   
–  Unscrew the protective cover -arrows-.
–  Unplug the 4-pin connector (brown) to the Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130-.
  A24-0301
–  Connect up the multimeter (voltage measuring range) between contacts 3 and 4.
–  Switch on ignition.
t  Specification: 0.400 ... 0.500 V
–  Switch off ignition.
If the reading does not match the specification:
–  Check the Lambda probe wiring.
If the reading matches the specification:
–  Replace the Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130-.
