t  -V.A.G 1526 A-
t  -V.A.G 1594 A-
t  -V.A.G 1598/31-
  Note!
t  The voltage supply (+) to the engine control unit is via contact 3 with ignition on (voltage supply via a relay). The engine control unit maintains the voltage supply to contact 3 via this relay for approx. 25 seconds after the ignition has been switched off.
t  Terminal 15 of the central electrics is also present at contact 62.
t  The earth connection of the engine control unit is provided via contacts 1 and 2.
  Note!
t  Battery voltage at least 11.5 V
t  Fuse for engine control unit OK.
t  Alternator OK, check: → Electrical System; Repair group 27
