A3 Mk1

Checking voltage supply
Checking voltage supply
–  Remove the driver's storage compartment: → Rep. Gr.
–  Detach connector for accelerator position sensors.
–  Switch on ignition.
   
–  Connect multimeter as follows to measure voltage:
  A24-0209
Connector
Contact		Specification
1 + earthapprox. 5 V
1 + 5approx. 5 V
2 + earthapprox. 5 V
2 + 3approx. 5 V

If specifications are attained:
–  Additionally check signal wires.
If the specifications are not attained:
–  Check wiring between engine control unit and accelerator position senders.
