Testing intake manifold changeover function
Testing operation

‒ Run engine at idling speed for 2 or 3 minutes (to build up a vacuum).

‒ With car stationary and ignition switched on, start final control diagnosis and select intake manifold changeover valve -N156 .
The vacuum unit for the intake manifold changeover valve should pull and release alternately.
If the changeover is not taking place, carry out the following tests:

‒ Test intake manifold changeover valve -N156 (perform final control diagnosis ).

‒ Make sure that vacuum hoses are properly connected and free of blockages and leaks.

‒ Make sure that the changeover mechanism can move freely (actuate linkage by hand).
