Wheel alignment

Wheel alignment is always to be performed with equipment released for use by VW/AUDI.

Wheel alignment always includes both front and rear axle.

Proper vehicle performance is otherwise not guaranteed.

Notes:

  • ◆ It is not appropriate to carry out wheel alignment before the vehicle has been driven for between 1000 and 2000 km, as the coil springs must be allowed to fully settle.
  • ◆ Always attempt to come as close as possible to the respective specifications when performing adjustment work.
  • ◆ Vehicle judder may also be caused by excessive residual imbalance and/or radial runout of wheels.
Attention:
On completion of front axle adjustment work, zero position compensation must be performed for steering angle sender
