Fault information displayed is not updated constantly, but rather only on starting self-diagnosis/implementing function 05 "Erasing fault memory".

• ‒ Start parking aid self-diagnosis .

→ Display on VAS 5051:

• ‒ From list -1- select diagnosis function "02 - Interrogating fault memory".

→ Display on VAS 5051:

•     1 -    Content of fault memory:
• - 0 faults detected
• Or
• - X faults detected
•     2 -    Fault
• - Fault code
• - Fault location
• - Type of fault

A - Faults detected:

• ‒ Print out information on screen or self-diagnosis log.
• ‒ Terminate function "02 - Interrogating fault memory" by touching
  ◂ key.

→ Display on VAS 5051:

• ‒ Eliminate fault(s) in line with fault table => Page 01-457.
• ‒ Select diagnosis function "02 - Interrogating fault memory" again in list and erase fault memory => Page 01-462.
• ‒ Select diagnosis function "06 - End of output" in list => Page 01-464.

B - No fault detected:

• ‒ Select diagnosis function "06 - End of output" in list => Page 01-464.
