Starting navigation Navigation system can be started on completion of calibration program. Indicated on display:

SERVICE MENU:
>	WHEEL CALIB. WIRING TEST DRIVE SYS. TEST END

–  Use Cursor key to select menu item “END” and confirm selection with ENTER key. Indicated on display:

CHECK: A3 - AB TYRES: 205/60 15
>	YES NO

–  Pressing ENTER key to confirm “YES” option results in continuation of the corresponding menu item. –  The following message appears if selection is not confirmed with ENTER key: Indicated on display:

PERFORM WHEEL CALIBRATION
>	OK

–  Press ENTER key to confirm “OK” display and then perform wheel calibration → Chapter. Indicated on display:

PLEASE INSERT NAVIGATION CD NOW
>	OK

–  If this has not already been done, insert navigation CD in CD drive. –  Use ENTER key to confirm “OK” display. Indicated on display:

PLEASE WAIT

The navigation programme is loaded and started automatically. Indicated on display:

NAV. MENU:
NO DESTINATION
>	START SELECTION

Location can be entered manually during navigation test drive → Chapter. Navigation system can however also be allowed to determine location. This involves driving for a few kilometres on a route with as many bends or junctions as possible. Navigation system then determines location automatically.
