Rim offset
The rim offset is the distance between the centre line of the rim and the inner contact surface between the rim and the wheel hub.
On a rim with an offset of „0“, the inner contact surface between the rim and the wheel hub is exactly in the centre of the rim.
On a rim with a positive offset of „+35“ (same rim width), the rim is positioned further inwards (towards centre of vehicle).
On a rim with a negative offset of „-35“ (same rim width), the rim is positioned further outwards (towards outside of vehicle).
