  Note
   
t  Connections -A- and -B- must be attached as shown to enable coolant hoses to auxiliary heater to be fitted without strain and so that they do not make contact with other components.
t  Bracket -E- must be fitted so that lug -F- faces auxiliary heater.
t  Before attaching bracket -E-, check position of wire -D- in auxiliary heater recess.
t  From model year 2006 onwards, auxiliary heaters with modified connections (optimised seal) and a modified outer casing are gradually being introduced.
–  Before installation, lubricate both O-rings -C-, e.g. with coolant.
–  Insert both O-rings -C- in the two connection openings.
–  Insert both connections -A- and -B- in the two connection openings.

–  Make sure bracket -E- is correctly positioned on two connections and secure with bolt -G-.
–  Align the two connections -A- and -B- as shown (observe position of webs on respective base plate of connections).
–  Tighten bolt -G-.
