Installing

‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Oil Pan and Oil Pump Assembly Overview ] See: Oil Pan and Oil Pump Assembly Overview

‹› Silicon sealant.

‹› Note the expiration date of the silicone sealant.

‹› Install the oil pan within 5 minutes after applying the silicone sealant.

Spray the sealing surface with sealant remover and allow it to work.

Remove any sealant residue on the upper section of the oil pan using a flat blade scraper.

CAUTION!
Risk of eye injury.

‹› Wear safety glasses.

Remove any remaining sealant on oil pan lower section using for example a rotating plastic brush.

-

Clean sealing surfaces, must be free of oil and grease.

Cut tube nozzle at front marking (jet dia. approximately 3 mm). 

-

Apply silicon sealant to clean sealing surfaces of the oil pan (lower section) as shown in illustration.
