‹› Used Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782)

‹› Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System ( VAS 5051B)

‹› Adapter for oil filling (VAS 6262)

‹› Protective glasses

‹› Acid-resistant protective gloves

CAUTION!
‹› When working in vicinity of cooler, always ensure clearance to fan - danger of injury!

‹› Fan can only switch on by itself.

‹› Wear protective glasses.

‹› Wear acid-resistant protective gloves.

CAUTION!
‹› Engine must not be started if there is only a small amount or no transmission oil at all in transmission after a repair or after excessive

outflow of transmission oil.

‹› In this case, perform a preliminary filling of transmission fluid for direct-shift transmission.

‹› Only transmission fluid for direct shift transmission is available as replacement part, must be used in the Direct Shift Transmission

02E. Other oils can cause malfunctions or transmission failure, Part No.

Test Conditions

‹› Vehicle on a flat surface

‹› Selector lever in "P".

‹› Exhaust hose/hoses of an exhaust extraction system connected.

‹› Engine idling.

‹› Air conditioner and heating must be switched off.

‹› Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System ( VAS 5051B) connected, Vehicle Self-Diagnosis and vehicle system "02 - Transmission

electronics" selected.
