‹› Installation position: The angled end of the securing clasp faces toward the inside of the shift mechanism.

Install locking plate - A -.

‹› The locking plate is clipped in at the left and right with retaining tabs.

Install bolts - arrows -.

CAUTION!
‹› Do not touch the circuit board - B - of the selector mechanism function unit with your fingers, under any circumstances. The electrical

components on the circuit board could be destroyed by static discharge.

‹› The circuit board can only be replaced together with the selector mechanism function unit!

Screw cover with adhered seal onto shift unit until hand-tight -  arrows -. While doing this, note position of seal.

Insert protective sleeve of selector lever cable into cover.

Carefully push selector lever cable onto selector shaft lever on transmission in opposite direction of - arrow -.
