Fluid Reservoir

‹› Fluid reservoir - C - and condenser - B - are available in different versions (one or two mounting bolts - D - and -  E - for fluid reservoir).

‹› If the reservoir is secured with two screws, the screw - E - with a front end module - A -, where there is no opening -  F -. Introduction of the

opening is open. Either replaced only with the condenser removed or make an approximate 14 mm hole in the font end module. Be careful not to
damage the radiator and/or the condenser when drilling. 

‹› The removed reservoir contains refrigerant oil that must be returned to the refrigerant circuit (with the new reservoir) A/C System with Refrigerant

R134a. Adjustment of oil quantity depends on nature of complaint.

‹› If the reservoir was damaged, for example, during a crash (no refrigerant has leaked out and no moisture or dirt has gotten into the refrigerant

circuit) Drain the refrigerant from the reservoir, which had been removed earlier, and fill the refrigerant circuit with fresh refrigerant plus 10 cm 3
(for example, into the condenser). The refrigerant circuit can then be serviced without a lot of repair work. Refer to A/C System with Refrigerant
R134a.

‹› If an undefined amount of refrigerant oil escaped or dirt and moisture entered the system, refrigerant circuit must be cleaned. A/C System with

‹› The reservoir may be attached to or integrated in the condenser, depending on the version of the condenser. If the condenser has an integrated

reservoir, replace the dryer cartridge. Refer to => [ Condenser ]. 

Removing

-

Drain the refrigerant circuit: A/C System with Refrigerant R134a 

-

Remove front bumper.

-

Remove bolts - D - and - E - (bolt -  E - not always present), tightening torque 10 Nm.
