Removing
  Note
Convertible top component designations → Chapter
–  Remove the convertible top headliner → Chapter.
–  Remove the convertible top cover → Chapter.
–  Move convertible top to centre position.

–  Remove piping strip -1- and pull convertible top padding out of groove -2- of front bracing hoop.
  A61-0233
–  Detach convertible top padding from adhesive strip at main guide element -1-.
  Note
The double-sided adhesive strip can be re-used if it is still in good condition.
–  Remove bolt from rear end of convertible top padding in bow.
–  Slide convertible top padding forwards out of upper groove -2- of bow.
–  Detach convertible top padding sideways from bracing hoops.
Installing
Install convertible top padding in reverse order of removal.
  Note
t  Pay attention to correct installation position and operation of all convertible top components.
t  Check operation.
