Removing and installing control unit
  Note
t  Control unit for seat with seat memory and with electrical adjustment is located beneath driver's seat.
t  If the control unit is defective, upper seat pan frame with backrest must be removed:
t  Vehicles up to 04.03 → Chapter
t  Vehicles from 04.03 onwards → Chapter
   
–  Remove seat → Chapter.
–  Remove bolts -2- (2x). Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm
–  Turn control unit -1- around.

–  Disengage retaining bracket -4- and unplug connector -5-.
–  Press in retaining tabs -3- (2x) and unplug connector -2-.
–  Detach control unit -1-.
