Removing slider for variable convertible roof compartment
Removing slider for variable convertible roof compartment
–  Remove variable convertible roof compartment → Chapter.
   
–  Pull off floor covering -1- (convertible roof compartment lining) on relevant side to such an extent that the two bolts -2- can be accessed.
t  Bond on floor covering with D 001 200.
–  Remove bolts -2- (2x).
t  Tightening torque: 4 Nm
–  Separate centre section of convertible roof compartment -3- from right-side section -4-.

–  Pull apart side sections -1- and -2-.
–  Remove bolts -3- (4x) from inside lid.
t  Tightening torque: 2 Nm
–  Detach inside lid -1-.

–  Unscrew bolts -1- (4x) on both sides.
t  Tightening torque: 2 Nm

–  Pull apart sections -1- and -4- upwards.
–  Prise slider -3- out of fastener of section -1-.
–  Separate sections -1- and -4-.

–  Unscrew bolts -2- on left and right.
t  Tightening torque: 1 Nm
–  Move slider -1- downwards out of fasteners.
–  Take out slider -1-.
