Removing and installing clutch pedal switch F36 > < Servicing clutch mechanism - overview

1 - Mounting bracket
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
2 - Pivot pin for clutch and brake pedal
3 - Retaining clip
4 - Hexagon socket head bolt, 25 Nm
5 - Brake pedal
q   Maintenance-free bearing, do not grease
6 - Clutch pedal switch -F 36-
q   May only be installed once; must always be renewed if removed
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
7 - Hexagon socket head bolt, 5 Nm
q   Secures clutch and brake pedal pivot pin
8 - Clutch pedal
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
9 - Retaining clip
10 - Retaining clip
q   Removing and installing → Item
11 - Hexagon socket head bolt, 20 Nm
12 - Clutch master cylinder
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Seal -arrow- must not be removed
13 - Over-centre spring
q   Black side points towards clutch pedal
q   Removing and installing → Chapter

14 - Clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194-
q   USA models and vehicles with 3.2 ltr. FSI engine only
q   Engine can only be started when clutch is fully depressed (clutch pedal switch for engine start activated).
q   May only be installed once; must always be renewed if removed
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
15 - Torx bolt, 25 Nm
q   For securing brake master cylinder/brake servo to mounting bracket
