Repairing driver's airbag

Removing and installing steering wheel



◆ Removing ‒ Remove airbag unit ‒ Centre the steering wheel (wheels in straight-ahead position). ‒ Unscrew bolt -4-. ‒ Detach connectors -2 and 10-. ◆ Installing ‒ Attach steering wheel in centre position (wheels straight ahead). ‒ Ensure that the connectors and the airbag engage fully (i.e. audibly). ‒ Replace bolt -4- and tighten to 60 Nm. ‒ Install airbag unit => Page 69-55
