• Bolts for attaching top part of functional unit
• ‒ Tightening torque 5 Nm
• Connector for airbag unit
• Airbag unit
• Nut for steering wheel
• ‒ Tightening torque 42 Nm

•     4 -    Bolt in steering wheel
• ‒ Tightening torque 60 Nm

• Bolts for attaching bottom part of functional unit
• ‒ Tightening torque 5 Nm
• Torx bolts (T30)
• ‒ Tightening torque 7 Nm
• Connection cable of coil connector
• Coil connector
• Pivot pin
• Transport lock

• ◆ Removing
• ‒ Use T30 Torx wrench to unscrew airbag unit from rear.
• ‒ Remove airbag unit -3- and detach connector -2-.

• ‒ Put down airbag unit in such a way that padding faces upwards.

• ◆ Installing

Notes:

Listen to ensure that connector -2- engages (i.e. audibly).

Tighten right Torx bolt first when installing airbag unit.

• ‒ Switch on ignition and connect battery earthing strap.
