Removing

• ‒ Note radio code on vehicles with coded radio; if necessary ask for it.
• ‒ Disconnect battery.

=> Electrical System; Repair group 27; Battery

• ‒ Removing rear seat

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 72; Rear seats; Removing and installing rear seat bench

• ‒ Item 1, ESP control unit

→ The control unit -J104 is located under the rear seat bench.

Tightening torque for bolts 9 Nm.

Installing

The remaining installation steps are carried out in the reverse sequence:

• ‒ Installing rear seat

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 72; Rear seats; Removing and installing rear seat bench

• ‒ Enter radio code.
