• ◆ Fitting sleeve 3378
• ◆ Tapered roller bearing puller V.A.G 1582
• ◆ Adapter V.A.G 1582/10

Removing

• ● Differential is installed.

• ‒ Remove right-hand drive flange oil seal => from Page 39-8.
• ‒ Lever out circlip for grooved ball bearing.
• ‒ → Insert M12 x 20 hexagon bolt with washer in drive flange output shaft hole.
• ‒ Tension claws of adapter V.A.G 1582/10 between balls on grooved ball bearing inner race.
• ‒ Pull out grooved ball bearing with puller V.A.G 1582.

Installing

• ‒ → Pull in grooved ball bearing together with tapered ring and spring.
• ‒ Insert circlip for grooved ball bearing.
• ‒ Drive in right-hand drive flange oil seal => from Page 39-11.
